Keegan - 18 Months

Our little man is growing up way too fast.  He turned 18 months last Friday.  It was a busy week of birthdays and half birthdays as Bill and his dad have back to back birthdays and Kaidyn and Keegan have their half birthdays that same week!  I'm all about celebrating any sort of birthday - half or whole!  

Keegan got the joy of going to see Dr. Valentine on Valentine's Day for his 18 month check-up.  He currently weighs 24.9 lbs and is 32" long.  That puts him about in the middle for his age.  I was glad to see he had gained 2 lbs. since 15 months as he eats like a little bird most of the time.  He loves his fruits and veggies but could really care less about meat.  Good thing that whole milk has some protein in it!  He loves his milk and continues to take a bottle.  We have been told to give it up cold turkey.  I don't really see this going down very well as my niece who is 4 months takes the same bottle as him (and is at our house two days a week as Mimi watches them).  We will try and see where we get.  He got one shot today and didn't cry at all.  I couldn't believe it!  He continues to be all boy and runs more than he walks.  He loves cars, trucks, tractors - really anything with a motor!  He also loves his big sister and she's great with him, as well.  It warms my heart to watch them together.  So, so sweet!  He has also become a very good climber.  I found him up on the tv stand the other day.  He keeps us on our toys but we wouldn't have it any other way.  He is the sweetest little guy!  We love you, Keegan Edward!
