After all the anticipation and excitement, Kaidyn is finally here!! Brittney and Bill arrived at Clark Memorial Hospital around 1 a.m. on Sunday morning and following all the contractions and epidural she began pushing around 8:45 am. Kaidyn was on her side in a transverse position, in which made it very difficult for her to come out; however Brittney did a great job and Kaidyn Nicole was born at 10:05 a.m. After going through some distress during the delivery, Kaidyn was monitored closely for a couple hours and is now doing great! She was 7 lbs. 4 ounces and 20 inches long. She has a head full of dark hair and is as cute as can be as you can see in the picture below.
After Kaidyn was born, Bill and Debbie both joined the rest of the family in the waiting room very briefly to annouce the name. Bill began passing out Hershey candy bars that had a pink label on them stating, "HERESHEIS" ... "Here She Is", and below it her name. It was very cute.
Brittney is doing very well and I am sure she will be updating the blog for everyone as we get more pictures and exciting news. Her and Bill are hoping to take Kaidyn home tomorrow evening or Tuesday afternoon.

Yea for Kaidyn! We are so excited for ya'll and can't wait to meet her someday, hopefully soon! Billy, you take care of Bobby and that sweet new daughter..We know you will! By the way, we LOVE the name!!

WOW!! Congrats Bill and Brittney! What a fun surprise to check your blog today and see pics of baby Kaidyn! I'm sure you all are floating on cloud nine...as you should be!
