The little patient waiting for tubes!
Daddy & Kaidyn after first arriving
We are so thankful for pacifiers!
This pic cracks me up! This is about 10 minutes after getting her "happy juice"!I am happy to report that the tubes are in and Kaidyn is doing great! We arrived at the Louisville Surgery Center this morning at 6:30 a.m. The ladies were great getting Kaidyn ready for her procedure. Dr. Shotts was running late, so Kaidyn didn't actually go back until about 8:45 for surgery. We had to wait awhile, but she did great. A little bit before they took her back, she was given "Happy Juice" which is used to relax them so they are not traumatized by everything. It was quite hilarious to watch the effect that had on her little body. Bill thought she looked like a drunk. Just very happy go lucky! Then it was time for her to go back and we went to the waiting room for about 10 minutes to wait. After the surgery Dr. Shotts came out to let us know everything went great. We were called back to recovery room to meet our baby. She was crying, however that is normal due to the anesthesia (not pain). She screamed the entire way home but I think that had to do with the fact that she was hungry. She couldn't have anything to eat or drink 12 hrs. before surgery. After I gave her a bottle she took about an 1 1/2 nap and now we are up playing! Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers. :)
