Pumpkin Patch

October means pumpkin picking time!  We took advantage of the beautiful weather we are having and headed to Huber's.  We have been wanting to take the kids but wanted to wait for Leah's visit (see next post).  It was a beautiful day.  I think everyone in Southern Indiana had the same idea as us as it was pretty crowded.  So crowded that there was huge line for the kids barnyard play area that we skipped it.  Kaidyn was a little disappointed but we couldn't wait forever.  We will have to make a trip to the park this week!  We got on a wagon for a ride out to the pumpkin patch.  We got our pumpkin patch pictures and looked for the perfect pumpkin.  Kaidyn couldn't find one she was thrilled with.  It really was slim pickin's!  So, we got back on the wagon and went back to find a painted pumpkin that she liked a lot more.  We already have our pumpkins at home so we were going more for the experience!  Can't beat $2.99 huge pumpkins at Aldi!  Ok, so back to Huber's!  We got our pumpkin, found a table to eat lunch and enjoyed some fried chicken, biscuits and dumplins!  Yum!  We fed the ducks and did some swinging.  It was a fun day!

I love this picture!
