Halloween was very fun for us this year. Kaidyn didn't fully understand what was going on, but she enjoyed trick-or-treating. She had a confused look on her face about why people were opening their doors and putting candy in her Elmo bucket. She started to get the hang of it about half way through. We would not stop at houses that didn't have their lights on and she would point to show that we needed to stop. Of course she doesn't get the concept of lights on/lights off but I was impressed with her recognizing the houses and stopping at them. We had a whole entourage trick-or-treating. Our families came over to see the little peacock and some of them went walking with us. Kaylea, Kaidyn's favorite next door neighbor, was dressed as a monkey and her mommy brought her along, too! Kaidyn's favorite candy (and only candy I let her have) were the Mini M & M's. She was on a little sugar high after eating a few of them!

What a cutie! Love the little car transporting her from house to house. What a great idea. And that monkey is adorable, too. :-)
We gave our Mini M&Ms at our house! But EG still loves candy corn and suckers, especially the big tootsie pops!
