Christmas Eve started with Kaidyn going to Grandpa Rick & Nana Kat's house to bake cookies. While she was off baking Bill and I finished up some last minute shopping! We had lunch and then picked Kaidyn up. After a quick nap it was off to Northside for a wonderful Christmas Eve service. Bill's mom and Faye joined us for church. I don't want to forget that immediately following the music at the beginning of the service a child number was flashed up on the screen. Bill looked over at me and said, "Is that Keegan's number?" Sure enough it was. The kids are a given a number at check-in and if there is an issue while they are in the nursery or their class, their number will be displayed on the worship screen. Bill climbed over what seemed like a hundred people to head to the nursery to see what the problem was. I think we have a little rotten stinker! When we dropped him off he was asleep and must have woken up to strange faces. He was screaming and crying at the top of his lungs. Bill finally got him calmed down and stayed out with Keegan the rest of the service.
After church we went to Beth's house (Bebe as the kids call her) to celebrate Christmas! We enjoyed a yummy dinner of chicken and rice with some excellent side dishes. Then it was time to open presents!
Keegan enjoyed his exersaucer while the rest of us opened gifts!
Bebe and the kiddos
Bebe wrapped a big box filled with presents for Kaidyn to open!
This little stinker was SO tired after a day full of excitement!
