Happy 16 Months!

Kaidyn Nicole is 16 months old today!  Bill and I were talking last night and reminiscing on the night 16 months ago...boy were our lives about to change.  Of course, for the better!  Here are 16 fun facts about our Kaidyn:

16. She loves to tell you what sounds animals make (cow, horse, lion, snake, chicken, dog, sheep are her fav's - she will also tell you santa says ho, ho, ho)
15. All 12 month molars are in - the last one came in 2 days ago...yay!
14. She loves books and having people read to her
13. Kaidyn believes water should come out of a sippy cup and milk out of a bottle - these are the only two liquids she will drink.  Trying to get her to drink milk out of a sippy continues to be a struggle
12. She can listen and follow two step instructions, such as go to your room and get a diaper
11. We are working on coloring with crayons - next up will be finger painting
10. Her little mind is so curious about everything
9. Goldfish remain her favorite snack
8. She is trying to say many words these days - I know she will be a little chatter box within a matter of time!
7. She is working on using a spoon to eat with - her dexterity is improving
6. She doesn't sit still for a minute
5. She can point to her body parts and other objects when asked
4. Words she has mastered:  Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Mimi, ball, baby, pretty, please (pez), more (mo), fish (ish) are the ones off the top of my head
3. She can open the back door and go out into the garage (we now have to lock it)
2. She hasn't had an ear infection since she got her tubes - they have been the BEST thing in the world!
1. Her laugh is contagious and fills us with so much joy!

Happy 16 Month Birthday, Kaidyn!  We are so lucky to be blessed with such a sweet little girl.  You are so much fun, and we love you to pieces!!!!  XOXO
