We usually spend Labor Day at Hanover Beach celebrating the "end of the summer". This year was no different. We headed up Saturday after a birthday party. It was Keegan's first over night trip and he did great. Saturday Kaidyn hung out with the fam and did some swimming, while Keegan and I stayed in the A/C. Keeg got to meet Aunt Lynn and Brady, as well as Great Grandpa Hardin. Kaidyn loved running around wild. Sunday was the annual pitch-in and golf cart parade. We decided to go with a - get this - princess themed golf cart! Kaidyn loved it. She dressed up as Rapunzel and had a little princess basket that she carried suckers in to throw to the parade watchers. Keegan rode in "papa's baby car" as Kaidyn calls it. It is a Smart car that he borrows from the Southern IN Bureau of Tourism for the parade. He was a good boy and slept the whole parade. Sunday and Monday were a bit chilly but other than that it was a great weekend! The temps prove that fall has arrived early...for now!

Princess float!
She's ready
Here they come around on the first lap! Daddy was a good sport and drove her.
Pretty, pretty princess
Keegan is ready for his first parade!
This is the winning float. There really is a golf cart under there. Impressive!
Another golf cart entry
And another (Wizzard of Oz theme - you just can't see all of the characters)
Aunt Lynn & the Keegs
Handsome Boy
Great Grandpa Hardin & Keegan
Nana & the grandkids
I don't know who loves this more - papa or Keegan. He has spent many hours sleeping in this position!
