Keegan Edward - 8 Months Old

8 Months!!!  What a fun age!  You are the sweetest little guy.  You have learned how to clap and do it all the time.  You love to clap when you see your big sister (who you LOVE).  Kaidyn will sing "Patty Cake" to you and you begin clapping, as well.  You are not crawling and don't seem to have to much of an interest to move just yet.  That's ok, because our house needs a lot of baby proofing before you are on the move! 

Yesterday you got two more teeth.  Your top, right tooth and the one to the right of it came in.  It looks like that top, left tooth will be in by the morning.  That makes five teeth total as of now (three on bottom, two on top). 

You love food!  I recently made a chicken, sweet potato, apple recipe and you love it!  Tonight you ate chunks of banana (rather than mashed) and had a little of mama's whole grain mac & cheese because you wouldn't quit grunting!  We are working on the sign for "more". 

You wear a size 3 diaper and can fit in most 6-9 month clothes.  No real words have come out of your mouth other than the normal coos and goos.  You squeal and laugh out loud often. 

Favorite toys would include Sofie the giraffe, Discovery Toy stacking cups, Exersaucer (only in the mornings), and various teething rings/toys.  You love to be outside and pushed in a stroller or the little car.  You also love your baby swing on the swing set!  Thanks to Bebe for getting you a blue one so you didn't have to use Kaidyn's pink hand me down. :)

You are sleeping through the night unless you wake up in pain from the teeth coming in.  That hasn't happened in about a week, however.  You take two naps a day.  The first one about 9:30 and you sleep about 2 hours and then another one about 2:30/3 and sleep for about 1.5 hours.  We are sooo thankful that you are a good sleeper.  Just lay you in your bed and you go to sleep!  You just need your little blanket.  We often find you on your side with the blanket on your head.  You like that comfort.
