Christmas with the Meyer Family

We celebrated Christmas a little early with my side of the family because my parents and aunt and uncle are in Australia for Christmas this year.  My cousin is getting married.  They did survive the 14.5 hr. flight from L.A. and landed in Australia yesterday...we are sending hugs and kisses to them from the U.S.!  Anyway, we celebrated last Saturday at Uncle Steve and Aunt Candy's house.  We didn't exchange names this year, instead Aunt Candy came up with the fun idea to bring a gift to exchange that didn't have to be new, but had to be desirable to others and you were not allowed to go buy anything.  This was a lot of fun.  We laughed and laughed about what each person recieved and then when it was your turn, you had the option to steal someone else's gift.  This is where it got really fun.  Needless to say, I came home with a big basket complete with some wine, Bill got a really ugly angel figurine (which Kaidyn loves), and Kaidyn got a cute Christmas duck figurine.

Bill got this hideous wreath that mom brought - thank you Aunt Mimi for "stealing" it from him!

Dad got the singing reindeer!

Kaidyn loved the gift exchange and being with around the fam!

Bryan & Tiff gave Uncle Steve & Aunt Candy these lovely ESPN Mon. Night Football aprons
